We closed the year with our traditional Christmas concert in the church at Kopánka, where beloved older as well as brand-new Christmas pieces were performed. We also brought a touch of St. Nicholas Day atmosphere to the charming setting of Schaubmarov mlyn, where we performed at the local market. The intimate venue, lights, and scent of Christmas created a warm evening full of music and smiles. Photo gallery is here.

We helped bring the festive spirit to life at the opening of the Christmas markets in Trnava. The square filled with familiar melodies, a wintry mood, and a wonderful audience who enjoyed the first sounds of Advent with us. Photo gallery is here.

In June, we had the opportunity to sing in the fantastic acoustics of the courtyard of KCT Trnava in Trnava together with the youth choir Cantica Nova. Together with our Prague partner choir Lucky Voice Band, we completed a series of energetic performances in Prague from April 25 to 27. The joint concerts brought a wonderful atmosphere, new musical connections, and many warm responses from the audience. Watch the video from one of the performances here.

In March, we took part in a conducting masterclass at VŠMU, where both aspiring and experienced conductors had the opportunity to try leading a choir firsthand. Our performance included works by Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel.

In December, we joined forces with the Trnava Chamber Orchestra to present a unique pre-Christmas concert. The program featured Missa pastoralis Alma nox by Mikuláš Schneider-Trnavský, along with arrangements of traditional Slovak carols and popular international Christmas songs. The 2023 choir competition in Prague offered not only wonderful musical experiences but also the opportunity to connect with other ensembles. We were delighted to welcome the Prague-based Lucky Voice Band to Trnava and Bratislava, strengthening our international musical friendships. Photos from the performances: Gallery 1, Gallery 2.

In April and September, we had the pleasure of performing our Easter program during a series of concerts in Bratislava, Cífer, Trnava, and Považská Bystrica. Our repertoire spanned from early music masters to contemporary composers, offering the audience a rich and diverse musical experience. Our choir achieved at the International choral competition in Prague golden medal in the category Mixed choirs, free programme, golden medal in the category Folk songs and became the overall winner of the competition. We are happy about it and thank to our partners - Self-governing region of Trnava and City of Trnava.
